This Third Street coffee and tea house is setting a downtown standard. Offering hot pour-overs by the cup and fresh loose leaf tea in multiple steeps at no extra charge. Coffee is made from fresh roasted beans, made to order in a two-and-a-half minute pour-over, one cup at a time. Also available: hot macchiatos, a double shot of espresso marked with foam; the High Fiver, a double shot of espresso, half and half, and agave served in a highball glass; and the usual espressos and cappuccinos. Local and imported beans are used in all coffee drinks, and boutique teas you won’t find elsewhere are the norm at Songbird, where you’ll find yourself singing for refills.
