This cash-only oasis of cheap eats and suds in Peoria (about three miles from Lake Pleasant) is housed in a Western-style building where a signed photo from the crew of Knight Rider 2010 hangs above the fireplace. The adjoining bait shop, long bar, and picnic tables covered in red-and-white-checkered plastic signal weekend fun and a small menu of hamburgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches — all under $7 makes for a wallet-friendly fill-up. Burgers, despite the claim of being the best, are adequate, with the best bet being the Swissburger on rye with grilled onions.
