Up-and-coming AZ buzz band A Life of Science, who New Times writer Mike R. Meyer profiled in May, are set to perform Thursday, June 18 in downtown Scottsdale. The guys are one of three bands on this month's KEDJ 103.9 FM's Third Thursday billing.

The all-ages monthly concert series is held on Craftsman Court and will also include Flight to London and Single File along with 50 cent Budweiser products all night long during Thursday's show. ALOS will perform at 8:30 p.m. The band will also perform next month at Last Exit Bar & Grill on Saturday, July 18 where they will open for Erase the World, who will be celebrating their CD release. Halocene is also on the bill for the 21-and-older gig. Cover is $8. ALOS released "The Apneist," an ambitious concept disc, earlier this summer. The album can be found on iTunes.
