Friday I told you about a good way to spend 100 bucks. Today I'll tell you how to spend 1200. And, for future reference, any time you need advice on how to spend money, you can count on me. I will be there for you...I really will.

The ASU Art Museum and the ASU Ceramics Research Center have organized an art tour in Seattle, Washington from February 24-28, 2009 as a part of their sponsored bi-annual trip program, Contemporary Art Encounters. In the past, the program has whisked arty folks away to exotic art destinations like Brazil, Argentina, China and Montana.

Wait, Montana? Oh, nevermind. I trust you, ASU, I'm sure it was a beautiful trip.

This jaunt to Seattle is for someone with a high stamina for art. Check out the itinerary for day one: a tour of Pottery Northwest and Howard House, a visit to Suyama Space, a walk-through of private studios at the Tashiro-Kaplan Artists' Lofts all topped off by a stroll through the Olympic Sculpture Park. Then you'll hit the pillow, dream of being chased by giant Calder sculptures and wake to start the next jam-packed day.

Man, even just clicking all those links is exhausting. In a good way, of course.
