The mass shooting that took place last weekend at the Pulse nightclub in Orlando has left us truly devastated. Luckily, people are coming out in droves to lend a hand, finding different ways to help affected parties and communities.

Last night, a fundraiser at BS West in Scottsdale raised more than $10,000 for victims of the Orlando shooting.

More fine, and truly fierce, folks that are stepping up to support include Neveah McKenzie, Miss Gay Arizona America 2015, and the 10 qualified contestants of 2016’s upcoming pageant. All you have to do is show up at Charlie’s — one of CenPho’s most beloved and fun bars — and spend some dough at this drag show. Getting entertained by dynamic performers like Lady Ashley, Robyn Mansions, and Janee Starr for a great cause is a no-brainer.

All of the proceeds from the night will be donated to Equality Florida (EQFL), an organization dedicated to securing equality and justice for Florida’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community. The social-welfare organization has been kicking ass in the fundraising department this past week and has already racked up more than $3 million for the Orlando Pulse community survivors and victims. A post on the venue's Facebook page urged solidarity in the gay community.

"If you're not here to support your favorite drag queen, do it to support the brothers and sisters that we lost and the ones that are currently struggling and fighting for their life, they need all of us," read the post. "We're not alone, you're not alone."
