What's the first record you bought? Adam Sandler, What's your Name? Adam Sandler used to be known for comedy albums, and not films. He did some solid stuff--"The Goat Song" is a stand out.
What's the first concert you saw? Neil Diamond, at Veterans' Memorial Coliseum. Some people don't give him the respect he deserves. Neil's at the top of the food chain.
What's your favorite concert you've ever been to? The Phoenix Rising show.

What's your favorite CD? Weezer, The Blue Album. The whole album works--captures the 90's perfectly.
Who is your favorite singer or band? Tom Waits. He's Midas. Anything he touches is gold.
What was your favorite new or new-to-you album from 2010? Arcade Fire, The Suburbs. Believe the hype, everything they say about this album is true.
What one song would you play if you had a world-wide radio audience? "Hotel California". Why not, everyone already loves this song, except the hispters, but they can listen to Neutral Milk Hotel on their iPods while this plays. Plus, they used it in The Big Lewbowski. Over the line!
Who is your favorite local artist? JJCNV. Great songs. Wacky attitude.
What is your favorite local venue to see music? The Dressing Room. Small venue located on Roosevelt and 3rd St., currently on a great streak of wonderful shows.
What is your favorite music video? Pearl Jam, "Do the Evolution". An animated music video directed by Todd McFarlane. Tells the story of human history in 4 minutes.
