As we've mentioned before, Fivespeed is back in action and stronger than ever. The AZ rock band will be one of eight bands performing for a good cause Saturday, Sept. 12 at Mesa Amiptheatre. The band will perform along with local groups Lyra the Harp, Shawn Johnson and the Foundation, Sound the City, It's Like Love, Ronin Meyer, Flight to London and The Dark Eyed Juncos as part of the Make It Happen Music Festival.

Doors open at 2 p.m. and tickets are $10. All proceeds will benefit the music therapy program at the Cardon Children's Medical Center. The music will rock until around 9 p.m.

"It's going to be a really cool event," Fivespeed singer Jared Woosely says. "Everyone should come out. The money raised is going to a great charity." It's also a good opportunity to see a diverse mix of local talent.
