Get in the Halloween spirit by taking a gander at this flier for The Creepy Crawl Ball this Sunday, October 31 at The Underground at in Mesa.
The poster depicts a giant Frankenstein trying to capture a very scared woman, giving viewers a spooky taste of what to expect at the show. The vintage horror film look is a reflection of the concert, since the organizers plan on projecting old horror movies on the wall during the show.
And if that wasn't enough to convince you to attend, there will also be bobbing for apples for concert ticket prizes and Halloween decorations and candy. And, Michelle Donovan, co-owner of Mantooth Group and the Nile Theater (and who designed the flier), adds: "It's going to be a lot of fun, and you won't have to worry about the neighborhood bullies cutting open your Halloween bag and jacking your candy."
All the bands, including Red Son, Dead Life, Bad Vibe and Conscience, will be playing cover songs to create a fun, sing-along party vibe, and costume attire is encouraged. It's Halloween, after all!
The all-ages show costs $5 to attend, and doors open at 6:30 p.m. See www.mesaunderground.com for more info.
