Phoenix's Musical Instrument Museum will host a two day celebration of hip-hop on February 5 and 6. A performance by local turntableist DJ Radar, backed by a three-piece band, a screening of the documentary From Mambo to Hip-Hop: A South Bronx Tale and live performances from painters and dancers are the highlights.
There are more DJs spinning, too -- DJ Element and DJ Pickster One among them -- as well as lectures and a round table discussion.
