If there are two people in the entertainment world who know how to get folks talking, it's Jack White and Conan O'Brien. Both are kings of the lost art of the whisper campaign, getting word of mouth buzzing both in real life and virtually whenever they make even the slightest move. While the pair are no strangers, the White Stripes having played Conan's final Late Night episode, the two appear to be working together on some sort of surprise performance for tomorrow night.
Consequence of Sound points out that the cloaked figure in the video seen above is clearly too short to be the beloved CoCo, but could in fact be the other White Stripe. What exactly will go down is unclear. All we know is that it will be tomorrow at 8 PM at Third Man Records, and that the 21 and over event is first come first serve. Plus we can use O'Brien's tweet from earlier today as a means of speculation. He tweets, "Jack White & I are doing something cool tomorrow. Hint: it involves a LOT of Tears for Fears songs." Let's hope this momentous occasion is taped for the masses outside of the greater Nashville area.
