Many a moneymaker got shaken this past weekend, and not just at the various dance clubs dotting the Metro Phoenix night scene. A few off-the-chain and off-the-radar dance parties took place around downtown Phoenix, ranging from the rave-like affair The Underground at The Pressroom to the industrial-strength fun of Fallout.Shelter. Meanwhile, local band The Rebel Set also held a release show for their new disc How to Make A Monster at Rogue Bar in Scottsdale.

The Underground at The Pressroom, 1/24/14

Fallout.Shelter at Monarch Theater, 1/25/14

Deep inside the bowels of the Monarch Theatre, some insidious and subterranean nocturnal dance shenanigans were afoot during the latest Fallout.Shelter this past weekend. The freaky and fetishistic industrial dance party took place deep underground on Saturday, January 25, in the basement of the downtown Phoenix venue and feature harsh and dark sounds like aggrotech and EBM being blasted by Self.Destrukt, KILLtheALEX‎, Mess &*Phetamine, and other creatures of the night...See the full slideshow.
