We like to keep you updated on what's moving off the shelves at Valley record stores with our weekly What's Selling blog, but we're also aware that after awhile, big stacks of records and CDs get to be a cumbersome haul.

Seriously, moving with records is a special kind of pain, and you find yourself wondering how something you "love" so much can be such a pain in the ass.

So there comes in a time in every record collector (some call us hoarders, too) when you question your dedication.

Brad Dwyer brings us such a tale in this week's installment of Record Heat, only in typically dry style, he points out that addictions are a funny thing: the minute you kick one, there's something else ready to take its place. And sometimes that addiction was there to start with.
