Ravers and drinkers and college cats, oh my. That's just some of who we encountered in our clubland adventures during the past month while in pursuit of snazzy snapshots. We got to share oxygen with world-famous beat-juggler David Guetta at Maya in Scottsdale, stayed up late with candy kids at Stratus, wandered through the bars of Mill Avenue, and partied with ASU students at Gringo Star in Tempe.

Here's a look back at some of the best photos from where the Club Candids cameras were clicking in April.

David Guetta at Maya Day & Nightclub

When someone as big as the world-renowned DJ/producer David Guetta comes to town to perform, it's guaranteed that an enormous crowd will be there to greet him. Such was the case on Sunday, April 6, when Guetta staged his first-ever DJ gig in the Valley at Maya Daya and Nightclub in Scottsdale. And since it was taking place poolside, a majority of the thousands in attendance were sporting bikinis and boardshorts as they popped bottles, soaked up the sun, and raged to the EDM jams laid down by Guetta.

Dreams & Drums at Stratus

The Club Candids crew was swept into the frenetic maelstrom of vibrant light and heavy sounds that enveloped Stratus on Saturday, April 12, during the latest edition of annual dance party Dreams and Drums. EDM artists and DJs like Brazzabelle, CRNKN, and Twrk blasted intense beats for the sea of ravers and club fiends clad in candy gear on hand to go wild out until the wee hours of the morning.

Mill Avenue in Tempe

Think Mondays are for the birds with nothing to do come nightfall? Not so at the bars and clubs along Mill Avenue in Tempe, where there's generally plenty of activity of the nightlife variety. Club Candids scoped out the scene at C.A.S.A. Sunba, Zuma, and Mill Cue Club on Monday, April 21, and got alot of snapshots of said activity.

Gringo Star Street Bar in Tempe

We waded through a crowd of ASU students, Mill Avenue regulars, and 20-something revelers packed into Gringo Star Street Bar in Tempe on Friday, April 25. Some were celebrating their impending graduation, a big birthday, or the fact it was the weekend, while others came out to battle on the bar's collection of arcade games or just get a bit goofy (which you probably blame on all the alcohol being quaffed). As such, we got shots of both smiles and silly faces during our visit to Gringo Star.
