August is a paradox. It's peak pool party weather, inasmuch as it's too hot out to do much else, but it's also the socially accepted time to begin wrapping up the pool party season, wearing white, pretending it's summer instead of pretending it's fall, etc.
It's a transition month for our Club Candids photographers: A run of bright, blue pool parties, and Fetish Heat, which is about as dark as it gets. Here are 25 of their clubbiest, intermittently candid-est photos.

The notorious touring dance club rager -- which has served up libidinous thrills to night crawlers in New York, L.A., and its native Chicago -- swung through the Firehouse's Tempe location on on Thursday, August 23. The wild affair was a bit light on fried yardbird, but features scandalous videos playing on the Mill Avenue bar's HD screens and various ladies and go-go dancers in lingerie, including one shooting off sparks from her costume with a grinder.
