Fans and alumni of Arizona State University gathered outside of Sun Devil Stadium in Tempe on Saturday, September 28, prior to the ASU football squad's battle with USC to do some tailgating and celebrating. The mood got even more rowdy inside the stadium as maroon and gold-clad fanatics cheered on Arizona State as the team walloped the Trojans 62-41 in a high-scoring affair.

The loss was so bad that USC canned head coach Lane Kiffin following the game. Meanwhile, ASU (now 3-1 and ranked #22 in the most recent AP college football poll) will take on Notre Dame this Saturday at Cowboys Stadium.

Sound Wave Block Party - Maya Day+Nightclub, W Scottsdale - September 21, 2013

This year's edition of festival took the form of a gigantic block party that encompassed three stages and two nightlife venues (Maya and the WET Deck at the W Scottsdale Hotel) and saw such superstar DJs and EDM kings as Tiësto, Porter Robinson, Audien, Danny Avila and Deniz Koyu whipping the 18-and-over crowd of neon-drenched party monsters into a dancing frenzy.

Electric Run - HoHoKam Stadium, Mesa - September 14, 2013

Photos by Jeremiah Toller. View the complete slideshow. An estimated 3,200 people took part in annual Electric Run on Friday, September 13 at HoHoKam Stadium in Mesa. Participants clad in luminescent apparel from glow sticks to fluorescent paint traveled through a variety of surreal environments during the 5K race/walk.

After crossing the finish line, runners celebrated at the dance party, complete with a DJ and refreshments.

Tongue Tied's Old School/New School Party - Apollo's - September 7, 2013

The DJ tag team of Roya and Funkfinger kept the speakers at Apollo's primed with the wayback hip-hop hits of the Beastie Boys and Salt-n-Pepa, as well as more modern-day favorites by MGMT and LCD Soundsystem during the "Old School/New School" edition of their Tongue Tied night on Saturday, September 7.

Patrons got into the throwback spirit of the party by sporting MTV t-shirt and blinged out dollar sign glasses while posing for photos with ghetto blasters.
