The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office announced the arrest of a 16-year-old Canadian kid for sending some mean e-mails to self-proclaimed tough guy Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

The e-mails contained "death threats," according to the MCSO. The 16-year-old was arrested by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, because this imminent threat was sitting at a computer in Alberta, Canada.

This arrest comes just a couple of days after Arpaio released an internal memo of deputies on Arpaio's security detail defending their overtime payments totaling more than $120,000 in a one-year span.

Aside from the downright bogus "death threats" against Arpaio, there are cases like this one, where there's no indication of intent -- just some over-the-top e-mails.

In a first e-mail, the youngster -- whose name hasn't been released -- referred to Arpaio as a "massive dickhead," and a "dick-sucking shitface," and said he'd murder Arpaio's whole family.

According to the MCSO, the teenager sent another e-mail, saying he was in Phoenix right now, and was going to shoot Arpaio and his "ugly as hell wife."

Of course, the kid was arrested in Canada, where we can only imagine he was armed with a bowl of ice cream and maybe a bag of Cheetos.
