Chandler Detective Seth Tyler tells us Morris was supposed to be working traffic control at the church, which is located near Arizona Avenue and Queen Creek Road.

Morris was arrested around 10:30 a.m. yesterday after officers arrived and did a DUI investigation.

The charges are still pending as police await lab results.

Morris was placed on paid leave, and he'll be subject to an internal investigation, police say.
