Citizens for Phoenix, a coalition of neighborhood leaders, is sponsoring a mayoral debate on May 3 at the Phoenix Theatre, 100 E. McDowell Road. It is expected to be the first debate with all five mayoral candidates in attendance.

Thane Eichenauer, Phoenix lobbyist Wes Gullett, Councilman Claude Mattox, former Councilwoman Peggy Neely, and former Councilman Greg Stanton are vying for the mayor's seat in the August 30 election.

Doors open at 6 p.m., and KTVK's Frank Camacho, host of "Politics Unplugged," will moderate the 90-minute debate that begins at 7 p.m.

Citizens for Phoenix was founded in February 2010 by neighborhood leaders Paul Barnes and Ann Malone, and represents 60 neighborhood associations, churches, and civic organizations throughout Phoenix.
