When the New York Knicks took on the Phoenix Suns on December 15, the storyline was the return of former Suns'/current Knicks' head coach Mike D'Antoni. The evening was complete with man hugs between the ex-leader and the players.

At that point, we're sure many watching on national television switched their sets to something more riveting, like The Weather Channel.
Are the Suns seriously that far behind the NBA's elite? Kind of looks like it. they're 3-8 against the league's top eight squads.
A short-term solution can be to continue beating the teams they are supposed to, especially on the road. The 16-24 Knicks would be one of them, a squad that's only won five times since that December loss to the Suns at US Airways Center.
Players to watch out for on the New York side include power forward and team leader in scoring Al Harrington (19.8 points per game), as well as point guard Chris Duhon, who contributed 19 points, 5 boards, 3 assists, and 2 steals on Monday night during the Knicks' impressive 102-98 win over Chicago. Former Sun Quentin Richardson, who has underachieved most of the season as a starting forward, also went off against the Bulls, connecting on 5 of 5 three-point shots on his way to a game-high 24. Phoenix will need to bottle up these guys if they wanna win on the Knicks' home court.
