A 74-year-old Gilbert man moseyed into a Burger King yesterday afternoon, and told the cashier that he was just having a bad day.

That man, James Richard Miletta, then proceeded to pull out a handgun and demand the money from the register, according to Gilbert police.

According to information provided by Gilbert police, the cashier at the store -- at Warner and Val Vista -- gave up an undisclosed amount of cash, before Miletta left in his Chevy sedan.

Police say it took about five minutes to find Miletta, who'd made it to Elliot and Val Vista.

Miletta confessed, and police took the cash and the handgun, according to police.

Miletta's bond was set at $48,000, and police note that no one was injured throughout the incident.
