A Phoenix baby is alive after going without oxygen for 20 minutes, thanks to a new high-tech tool that reduces brain temperature. The baby's mother suffered an apparent stroke during delivery and died en route to the hospital. An emergency cesarean section was performed and the baby was taken to Phoenix Children's Hospital before being released to her father. Denver-based retailer XP Events owes the Arizona Diamondbacks almost $400,000, according to documents connected with the company's Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Among the other 23 creditors XP owes are Bank of America, the Charlotte Bobcats, and Time Warner Cable Arena. Diamondbacks President Derrick Hall said the team could not comment on the situation because of contractual confidentiality provisions.
