The first wave came around midnight and dumped more than an inch of rain in North Phoenix. The rain is expected to continue through this afternoon...An Arizona soldier was killed in Afghanistan Saturday. Defense Department officials say 19-year-old Robert Donevski of Sun City was killed when insurgents attacked his unit with small-arms fire...Governor Jan Brewer is asking the Tohono O'odham Indian Nation to abandon plans to build a casino in West Phoenix.
