The Balsz Elementary District in the Valley has added 20 days to the school year, giving students four more weeks at school. The extension is an attempt to improve student achievement in the district, which lost 300 pupils last year...The Phoenix Suns lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers last night, with the Suns shooting 22.2 percent from three-point range and the Cavaliers shooting 51.5 percent from downtown. The loss was the Suns' sixth straight defeat...An Ahwatukee chiropractor named Robert Coffey was arrested on stalking charges this morning, after police surveillance and investigators found evidence he'd been stalking a Valley woman for nearly three years, following her everywhere she went and making hundreds of phone calls and text messages...The Luhrs City Center in downtown Phoenix  is being remodeled for new tenants, including a Seattle-based law firm. Once finished, the  building will include 80,000 square feet of office space and 20,000 square feet of retail space...The Department of Public Safety arrested 13 suspected illegal immigrants yesterday morning in two traffic stops. Police say one vehicle, a 1998 Ford Explorer, held as many as ten men. The other vehicle, a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, held six passengers...And A Pittsfield, Massachusetts woman was arrested after allegedly coming home drunk with a turkey baster and a bag of her brother's semen and trying to inseminate her female partner by force.
