Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio is still trying to battle the feds, but in his free time over the weekend, the sheriff rounded up the "birther" brigade for another explanation of why he believes President Obama is from Africa.

This weekend's expedition took the sheriff's "Cold Case Posse" to a church in Sun City West, where Arpaio and company blabbed the "birther" speak to some of the Valley's more, ahem, vintage individuals.

It doesn't get much more picturesque than Arpaio at the podium, preaching to the choir, which means it's time for another edition of the New Times You Write the Caption contest.

The rules for You Write the Caption are simple: We provide the picture (above), and you provide the caption to that photo in the comments below.

On Monday, we'll announce the top-five reader captions and put them to a vote. The winner will receive a pay-your-own-way trip to the historic New Times building for a firm handshake and/or a high-five.

Do your best (or worst), New Times readers.
