Yesterday, Forbes Magazine ranked Phoenix as the third "most miserable" professional sports city in the entire country -- behind only Atlanta and Seattle.

The publication cites the Phoenix-area's four major pro sports teams' -- the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Coyotes, and Arizona Diamondbacks -- and their one championship in 92 collective seasons as the reason for the misery.

We'd argue the misery here in the desert would be better described as passive acceptance -- Phoenicians know their teams suck, and they don't expect too much.
