For the second year in a row, the Phoenix Coyotes will be competing for Lord Stanley's Cup in the NHL playoffs, which means Phoenix's fair-weather puck fans probably will creep out of the woodwork to support the home team.

Phoenix isn't exactly a hockey city -- despite the annual migration of snowbirds from places where people actually attend hockey.

The Howlers had the second-worst attendance in the entire NHL this year -- which is an improvement from last season when the team's attendance was the worst in the league.

However, if history repeats itself, now that the Coyotes are in the playoffs, "fans" will start showing up in Glendale to rip off the old Winnipeg Jets' "white out." And if history also repeats itself, the few-weeks-a-year fanhood will be short-lived when the Coyotes get rocked by the Detroit Red Wings -- this time in the first round.

We want to know what you think: do you care about hockey now that the hometown team is in the playoffs?
