The Arizona Republic reported yesterday that Maricopa County Supervisor Fulton Brock, whose prison-bound wife was recently convicted of having sex with the same teenage boy whom his adult daughter is accused of having sex with, has a GOP challenger for his seat in the 2012 election.

According to the Republic, investor Denny Barney, a Gilbert Republican, filed papers to challenge Brock for the seat the county supervisor's held since 1996.

At first glance, Brock seems like a victim of the sex scandal that's plagued his family. But as the onion peels, it seems the county supervisor not only knew of the affair between the boy and his wife a year before her arrest, but possibly attempted to cover it up.

Recently released transcripts of conversations Brock had with his wife as she sat in a Maricopa County jail certainly don't help his case.

Brock's a fairly popular guy in his district, but the sex scandal that rocked his family has become so bizarre it's impossible to ignore -- perhaps even in the voting booth.

We want to know what you think: is Fulton Brock's political career in trouble?
