After a U.S. District Court judge stripped key provisions out of Arizona's SB1070 law, Governor Jan Brewer appealed.

Like the district court, the Ninth Circuit Court found unconstitutional the parts of the law that allowed police officers to hassle suspected illegal immigrants and made it a state crime for immigrants to leave home without their ID.

Now Brewer's appealing again, this time to the U.S. Supreme Court. Of course, you never doubted her commitment to the law that solidified Arizona's reputation as a bigoted backwater.

Many would see a loss at the Supreme Court as a win, and vice-versa. Many others, including those in states that seek to pass similar laws, are hoping Arizona's law is upheld. The Supreme Court Justices may choose to ignore the case, letting the Ninth's ruling stand.

Should this spectacle even be allowed to go on, or should Arizona just drop the case?

The medical marijuana debacle has shown Arizonans that Brewer takes on the feds only when it's politically expedient, but what about you? Should Arizona fight for its duly-passed laws, even if we don't always agree with them?
