At a recent meeting of Teabaggers here in Arizona, Senator Jon Kyl made the stunning allegation that during a private conversation he had with President Barack Obama, the president basically told him he was holding lawmakers "hostage" by not securing the border in order to get some form of comprehensive immigration reform passed.

Kyl paraphrased the president as saying if his administration takes steps to "secure the border," then lawmakers in Washington "won't have any reason to support comprehensive immigration reform."

The teabaggers gasped in horror -- check out the video after the jump.

"You don't have to have comprehensive reform to secure the border, but you have to secure the border to get comprehensive reform," Kyl suggested at last week's Tea Party town hall. "We're supposed to secure the border... They frankly don't want to do it. They want to get something in return for doing their duty."

The president, of course, denies the allegation, but Kyl insists the conversation happened.

For some reason, possibly the bombshell interview General Stanley McChrystal gave to Rolling Stone, media outlets stopped caring that one of the two men flat-out lied to the entire country.

We want to know who you think the big liar is, Obama or Kyl?
