Legislative budget analysts announced yesterday that they expect 66,000 people would qualify to get prescription weed if medical marijuana is legalized in Arizona.

That number is based on a similar program in Colorado, which is already in place.

If 66,000 Arizonans are prescribed weed, the question still remains: how many people will try to convince a doctor that they need it?


We have a feeling that number might be slightly larger.

It seems that anyone who's ever smoked pot and liked it is gonna head straight to their physician's office and at least give tricking a doctor into writing a prescription a shot because -- let's be honest -- why not?
