Valley real estate mogul Michael Pollack's son was killed over the weekend when he was hit by a truck while crossing a Scottsdale street. The driver didn't stop -- and now Pollack is offering up to $50,000 for info about who killed his son.
Daniel Pollack, 31, was standing in the median on Hayden Road, just north of Thomas Road, about 1:30 a.m. Sunday when he was hit by a truck traveling south.
The driver took off, and Pollack was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The truck, authorities say, is either silver or white. It may be a Chevy Silverado or a Ford F-150.
The younger Pollack was vice president and a designated broker at his
father's company, Michael Pollack International Management Inc.
In addition to the $50,000 Pollack is offering for information about his
son's death, Silent Witness is offering an additional $2,500 reward.
In total, info about Daniel Pollack's death could be worth up to $52,500.
Anyone with information is asked to call Silent Witness at 480-WITNESS.
