Here is your guide to today's spring training games, as well as a look at some of yesterday's games that most Valley baseball fans actually care about (sorry, Royals fans, there's nothin' here for you unless your boys in blue happen to play against the Dodgers, the Cubs, or the Diamondbacks):

Arizona Diamondbacks: The D-backs hosted the Seattle Mariners, but the pitching matchup of Seattle's Cliff Lee and Arizona's Dan Haren was cut short when Lee was ejected for throwing at Diamondbacks catcher Chris Snyder. Other than a near bench-clearing brawl, the Diamondbacks laid down some smack and beat up on the Mariners 13-5.

Chicago Cubs: The Cubbies had some bus trouble getting from Mesa to Tucson to play the Colorado Rockies yesterday; the team bus broke down on Interstate 10. That trouble continued onto the field. The loveable Chi-town losers lost 5-2, but Chicago ace Carlos Zambrano looked good, surrendering only five hits and one run in four innings pitched.

Los Angeles Dodgers: The Dodgers fended off the L.A. Angels of Anaheim yesterday, beating the Halos 4-0. Dodgers possible fifth starter, Ramon Ortiz, gave his team four innings, giving up only two hits -- not bad for a guy who's 37 years old and hasn't played in the Majors since 2007.
