Feels like just yesterday that Uber delivered kittens around Phoenix for National Cat Day. Well, today the company's bringing us puppies!

In honor of our favorite sporting event, the Puppy Bowl — Animal Planet's annual pre-Super Bowl show in which dozens of adorable puppies run around and tackle each other on a miniature football field — Uber Phoenix is teaming up with the Arizona Humane Society to raise money for shelter animals.

Officially dubbed the Uber Puppy Bowl, from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. today, you can order a pair of puppies for you and your coworkers to play with — every 15 minutes of “cuddle time” costs $30.

According to Taylor Patterson of Uber, the company raised $1,000 by delivering puppies on demand last year in Phoenix, and this year it expects to raise much more because Animal Planet promises to match every dollar spent.

“Phoenix is a city filled with a lot of football fans, and we thought this would resonate well with folks and locals,” Patterson says of the decision to host the Uber Puppy Bowl here again.  Phoenix is one of seven cities participating in Uber’s Puppy Bowl, and will have ten participating puppies in circulation on Thursday.

“We have pit bull puppies, Chihuahua puppies, all different kinds of puppies,” Patterson says, "And they're all available for adoption starting at 3 p.m."

She adds that demand for puppies always is high, meaning you should request a puppy mobile early in the day.

And if tomorrow leaves you wanting more adorable action, the actual puppy bowl will air this Sunday on Animal Planet at 1 p.m. Arizona time — the pregame tailgate party starts at 12:30 p.m.

Watch highlights from last year’s event because, well, puppies!!
