Who's Getting Disbarred: Andrew Thomas, Lisa Aubuchon -- Or Both (Or Neither)?

State Bar disciplinary proceeding against former Maricopa County Attorney Andrew Thomas, and former deputy county attorneys Lisa Aubuchon and Rachel Alexander are currently underway.

Both Thomas and Aubuchon face disbarment, and Alexander could have her law license suspended, if the three are found responsible for several alleged ethics violations.

From the sounds of things, the hearing -- thus far -- have been a bit of a snooze-fest. That said, the light at the end of the tunnel is that Andrew Thomas could be disbarred.

The hearing's expected to last about 40 days, but we already see a few scenarios playing out: all three could crash and burn in a fury of unethical flames. Thomas and Aubuchon could take the fall, as Alexander clings to her legal license (that's our guess), or they could all get off scot-free.
