Christmas Eve

Tomaso’s Italian Restaurant

Chef Tomaso Maggiore's Biltmore neighborhood restaurant Tomaso's will serve a traditional Italian Christmas Eve lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on December 24. The menu includes dishes such as Tuscan legume and barley soup; a mozzarella tasting caprese salad with Bufala mozzarella, burrata, fior di latte mozzarella, beef steak tomato, basil, and olive oil; lemon prawns and Maine lobster ravioli featuring roasted shallots, lobster stock, truffle butter, and squid ink lobster ravioli. Rusconi’s American Kitchen

This Christmas Eve, chef Michael Rusconi of Rusconi's American Kitchen in North Phoenix will offer three-course menu for $50 per person. Guests will choose from a list of appetizers, entrées, and desserts with options such as blue crab and shrimp cake, lobster bisque with housemade crema, and  Sonoran Caesar salad to start, followed by main entrees including roasted natural pork tenderloin, smoked tomato crusted rack of lamb, and pan-roasted wild sea bass. Roka Akor

Celebrate Christmas Eve with a twist this year at Roka Akor, the upscale Japanese restaurant in Scottsdale. Chef Jason Alford will serve a four-course Christmas Eve meal in addition to the restaurant's full menu, with holiday specials including pork belly with marinated baby gold beets, three-piece chef selection sashimi, and imperial domestic Wagyu striploin with truffle aoili and braised oxtail hotpot. The restaurant will be open from 5 to 10 p.m., and the four-course dinner costs $85 per person. Reservations are not required but highly recommended and can be made by calling 480-306-8800.

Taggia at FireSky Resort

For $50 per person, Taggia at FireSky Resort in Scottsdale will offer a three-course Christmas Eve menu that includes an appetizer, entrée, and dessert. The menu includes options such as warm crab salad with green apples, arugula, radicchio, and blood orange vinaigrette; risotto with smoked salmon, shrimp, scallops, langoustines, green asparagus, and lemon oil; and Italian chocolate cookies with nutella, and pine nuts. Christmas Day

T. Cook's at Royal Palms Resort

You can spend Christmas at one of the Valley's most impressive resort restaurants, T. Cook's at Royal Palms Resort, which will serve a Christmas Day Holiday Buffet or a prix fixe menu on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from chef Todd Allison. Christmas Eve dining means dinner form 4:30 to 10 p.m., while the restaurant will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Christmas Day. On both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, diners can order a prix fixe menu with courses such as vadouvan spiced Colorado lamb osso bucco, roasted loin of venison, and pan-roasted John Dory. The menu costs $88 per person, $29 for children ages six to 12 and is free for those 5 years or younger. Christmas Day from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. the restaurant will also have a buffet option that costs $74 per person, $26 for children ages six to 1`2, and is free for those 5 years or younger. LON’s at the Hermosa

This Christmas the Lon's at the Hermosa culinary team is offering a prix-fixe menu that includes starters such as sweet potato bisque, dungeness crab cake, and crispy pork belly, as well as entrees like prime rib, roasted jidori chicken, veal scallopini, and butternut squash ravioli. The Lon's Christmas dinner menu, available from noon to 7 p.m., costs $75 per person, $25 for children 5 to 12, and is free for children four and under. Reservations, which are required, can be made online or by calling 602-955-7878.

elements at Sanctuary on Camelback

Leave the cooking to Food Network star chef Beau MacMillan this year by celebrating Christmas at elements at Sanctuary on Camelback in Paradise Valley this year. From noon to 9 p.m. on Christmas Day the restaurant, which offers stunning views of Camelback Mountain, will offer a four-course dinner including dishes such as fragrant lobster miso soup with cognac, Shanghai dumplings, and shaved scallions; escargot pot pie with Bloomsdale spinach, wild mushrooms, leeks, and soy caramel; and Moroccan spice lamb shank with chickpea and eggplant ragout, green harissa, blood orange and mint chimichurri. Christmas Day dinner at elements costs $90 per person, $29 for children ages six to 12, and is free from children five and under. 

J&G Steakhouse at The Phoenician Resort

On both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, J&G Steakhouse at The Phoenician Resort will serve a three-course holiday menu that includes dishes such as truffle fritters; butternut squash soup with oysters mushrooms; sautéed red snapper with coconut juice, parsnip, lime jasmine rice; and pumpkin ice cream sundae with cranberry and gingerbread for dessert. The holiday menu costs $85 per person. Reservations can be made by calling 480-214-8000. 

Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs Resort

Different Pointe of View


Enjoy a buffet-style meal prepared by Chef Anthony DeMuro at Different Pointe of View this Christmas. From noon to 7 p.m., guests will have the opportunity to enjoy slow-roasted prime rib, roasted breast of young tom turkey, smoked Berkshire pork loin served along a variety of decadent sides. Pointe In Tyme

Additional dining options at Pointe Hilton Tapatio Cliffs include a buffet meal at Pointe in Tyme. Beginning at 6 p.m., guests can gorge on herb-crusted prime rib, maple-glazed ham, and brined and roasted turkey. Dinner costs $51.95 per adult. Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort

Rico’s American Grill 

Celebrate Christmas with a garden-inspired buffet at Rico's American Grill at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. Including grilled prime rib of beef, glazed ham, and poached salmon, dinner costs $49 for adults, $44 for seniors, $24 for kids ages 10 through 3, and is complimentary for children under three years-old. Hole-in-the-Wall

Western Christmas will be served up at Hole-in-the-Wall at Pointe Hilton Squaw Peak Resort. With entrees such as mesquite-smoked turkey breast, honey glazed ham, and sliced beef brisket, dinner costs $39 for adults, $35 for seniors, $19 for children ages 10 through three, is and complimentary for children under the age of three. District at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix

Beginning at 11:30 a.m. on Christmas Day, family dinner at the Sheraton Grand Phoenix in downtown Phoenix will include three courses with wine pairings. Course options include spiced Tenderbelly ham with citrus and rye and potato au gratin, sauteed green beans with crispy shallots, and Rock and Rye-spiked maple glaze. Christmas Day dinner costs $36 per adult and $18 for children 12 years-old and younger. Reservations can be made online

Province Urban Kitchen and Bar at Westin Phoenix Downtown

Downtown Phoenix's Province Urban Kitchen is offering a three-course dinner from 4 to 10 p.m. on Christmas Day. The meal includes options for an appetizer, entree, and dessert — with options such as Boston blue crab bisque with New England crostini topped with cranberry crema; Hudson Valley duck with slow roasted half duck, parsnip risotto, maple glazed carrots with a pecan ginger pan sauce; and 12-ounce sea salt crusted prime rib with truffle Peruvian potatoes, almond scented green bean, foraged wild mushroom veal reduction with Bing cherry jam. ZuZu at Hotel Valley Ho 

Christmas doesn't get more stylish than at ZuZu at Scottsdale's Hotel Valley Ho, where guests can enjoy brunch from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. or dinner from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m. Brunch menu items include the regular menu plus holiday specials such as green corn tamales topped with red chili sauce and a poached egg — as well as a Bloody Mary + Mimosa Bar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dinner options will include specials such as slow roasted prime rib with mashed potatoes, roasted brussels sprouts, creamy horseradish, and au jus. Both brunch and dinner are à la carte. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 480-421-7997. 

Sassi

Order a porchetta to-go from Sassi this Christmas. Cooked over seven hours, the porchetta is made from boneless pork shoulder and stuffed with sausage, fennel, herbs, and seasonings, and can serve between eight to twelve as a main course. Porchetta costs $95 plus tax, and must be ordered a week in advance before 5 p.m. on December 17. Porchetta pick-up will take place on December 22 or 23 between 3 and 9 p.m.

Scottsdale Plaza Resort

Christmas at the Scottsdale Plaza Resort means two options for guests. At Remington's, you can have a traditional Christmas Eve feast on including holiday specials and the regular menu. The restaurant will be open between 5 and 10 p.m. with entertainment by Brien Flynn in the lounge from 5 to 8 p.m. Then on Christmas Day, head to the restaurant for a three-course Christmas Day meal featuring a choice of a starter, entrée, and dessert. The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch

Enjoy a festive brunch at The Scottsdale Resort at McCormick Ranch this Christmas. Replete with smoked Scottish salmon, California rolls, tuna nigiri, a wide variety of cheese and charcuterie, and other specialties, brunch will be offered between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Dinner costs $68 per adult, $34 for children ages 6 through 12, and is complimentary for those under five. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling 480-991-9000.

Bourbon Steak at Fairmont Scottsdale Princess

Not only does the Fairmont have some of the most impressive Christmas lights in the Valley, but it also has Bourbon Steak, one of the Valley's best steakhouses. For Christmas Eve and Christmas Day the restaurant will serve it's regular a la carte menu from 5 to 10 p.m. The resort's La Hacienda restaurant will also be open the same hours serving a Pepper Crusted Prime Rib special for $39. 

The Grill Kitchen & Bar at The Boulders Resort

If you find yourself a little north of the Valley this Christmas, stop by The Grill Kitchen & Bar at The Boulders Resort in Carefree for dinner. From 4 to 8 p.m., the restaurant will offer dishes such as black lip mussels with chorizo, fennel, and local goat cheese and a grilled Angus fillet with lobster and gnocchi ragout. Dinner at The Grill Kitchen & Bar costs $78 per person, and reservations should be made online or by calling The Boulders Resort concierge at 480-488-7317 extension 1117. 

Crowne Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort

This Christmas from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. take the whole family to the Crown Plaza San Marcos Golf Resort in Chandler for a holiday buffet that includes maple and ginger ale-glazed ham, herb encrusted prime rib, a chef-prepared omelet station, along with a crepe station, maple bread pudding, and assorted cakes for dessert. Chompie's

Not only will Chompie's be open on Christmas Day, the restaurant will also offer full feasts to-go. With enough food to feed twelve people, the full meal package ($189.95) includes a whole oven roasted turkey, fixings, sides, and apple or pumpkin pie. The dine-in menu at the local chain of restaurants will cost $18.99 per person, or $9.99 for children under 10.
