Traditional Crawfish Boil at Little Cleo's Seafood Legend

This weekend, kick off summer with a Louisiana tradition that's almost as American an apple pie. On Saturday, Little Cleo's Seafood Legend, located at The Yard in Central Phoenix, will host a classic Southern-style crawfish boil. For $36 per guest, each diner will receive a one-pound bag of boiled crawfish, snow crab, along with sweet corn, red potatoes, andouille sausage . . . and hopefully a very large stack of napkins. Sweet tea will be available by the pitcher, along with Abita Beers for $2. Reservations are required and can be made online or by calling Little Cleo's at 602-680-4044. Clever Koi Day Off Dinner

This Sunday, the Clever Koi will bring back the popular dining series "Day Off Dinners," teaming up with chef Michael Babcock of Welcome Diner and Welcome Chicken + Donuts for this year's first event. The 10-course dinner will include dishes such as beet gazpacho with dolce verde Gorgonzola and tortellini "birra-style." Last year's Day Off Dinner with Babcock sold out, so reservations should be made prior to the event. Dinner will begin at 5:30, and reservations can be made by calling the Clever Koi at 602-222-3474. Occupy the Farm Screening with Phoenix Public Market and FilmBar

This Sunday, FilmBar will host a screening of Occupy the Farm, a film about urban farmland and one community's fight against over-development. Before the show, Phoenix Public Market Cafe will serve farm-to-table items prepared specifically for Occupy the Farm-goers, along with a free drink pairing. Food will be served at 6:15, after which participants can walk around the corner to FilmBar, where the show will begin at 7:30. Tickets cost $20 per person and include food offerings at Phoenix Public Market and admission to the film.
