Pomo Pizzeria at Heritage Marketplace

Last weekend, a fourth location of Pomo Pizzeria (366 N. Gilbert Road, Ste. 106) opened its doors at Heritage Marketplace in downtown Gilbert. As at the three sister restaurants, diners can expect a menu of authentic Neapolitan-style pizzas made in a wood-fired brick oven crafted by a third-generation oven-maker and shipped overseas from Naples, Italy. The restaurant also serves oven-baked panini, homemade pasta, fresh salads, soups, and homemade Italian dessert, with the kitchen being overseen by chef Matteo Schiavone. The Gilbert restaurant also offers happy hour Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 p.m. in the bar area only. The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. For more information, check the Pomo Pizzeria website.

Burger & a Bottle Deal at Bink's
Sunday, July 12

Looking for a good excuse to get out and dine this summer? Bink’s Scottsdale, Bink’s Midtown in Phoenix, and Café Bink in Carefree have a pretty good one. Now through the end of summer all three restaurants are offering a Burger & Bottle deal that includes two burgers and a bottle of house red or white wine for $30. The deal is available Sunday through Thursday only (but heads up, Cafe Bink is closed on Monday). Summer Cocktail Camp
Sunday, July 12

Every other Sunday from now until September some of the Valley's top mixologists will host a Summer Cocktail Camp series. This weekend well-loved local bartender Travis Nass of the Last Drop bar at the Hermosa Inn will lead the class. Each session is limited to 30 participants and cost $30 to attend. The price includes three or four cocktails, a two hour class, and other takeaway gifts. The class starts at 1 p.m. at Last Drop.
