There’s a special day in May that Mom does not want to spend in the kitchen. And since it’s safe to say you don’t want to either, it’s a good thing the Valley offers a substantial amount of brunches, dinner, and overall food and drink specials on Mother’s Day 2018.

On Sunday, May 13, you can easily find a spot to take Mom for food and drink. Here are 30 we found in the Phoenix area.

24 Carrots Natural Café and Urban Juicery

Vegan and gluten-free specials abound for Mother’s Day at 24 Carrots in Tempe. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., you can try the Veggie Quiche – a vegan quiche with a garden hash of spinach, sweet potato, apple, potato, purple cabbage, beetroot, carrot, and onion with an arugula and orange salad under citrus vinaigrette. Also on the menu are chilaquiles made with red pepper sauce, melted cheese, black beans; some turmeric-tofu vegetable scramble; apple sweet potato hash; and a trio of sauces. Yes, this is one item. The on-site eatery, Wright’s at the Biltmore, is offering Mother’s Day brunch with a special menu. Anticipate breakfast staples, marketplace meats, a raw seafood bar, seasonal salads, and hot entrees like pan-seared salmon and citrus-grilled Cornish hen – plus plenty of handcrafted pastries for dessert. The Camby’s on-site eatery is offering Mother’s Day brunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a French crepe station. Other treats include Caprese and organic salads, an omelet station, an ahi tuna poke bowl, and seafood ravioli. The brunch buffet is $80 per adult and $25 for kids 12 and under.
