Romeo's Euro Cafe Tuesday, August 19

Every third Tuesday of the month chef Romeo Taus of Romeo's Euro Cafe in Gilbert hosts a special dinner event with three courses and three wines for $30. This month's event features Asian Calamari Salad with cilantro tangy citrus sesame oil dressing and spicy calamari strips; chimichuri ribeye; and chocolate cherry whisky cake. The featured wines will be Clos de Nouys Vouvray Estate Sec 2009, Santa Rita Carmenere 120 2011, and Renwood "Cranky Old Vine" Zinfandel. The dinner starts at 6:30. Federal Pizza Wednesday, August 20

This summer you can join in on Federal Pizza's Local Tap Deployment series, which brings local breweries into the restaurant for beer-paired dinner events. The dinners, which cost $35 a person, are served family-style and include four courses and four beers. At this week's dinner event, which starts at 6:30 p.m., the featured brewery will be Dragoon Brewing Company located in Tucson. You can RSVP by emailing [email protected] or calling 602-795-2520.

The Herb Box Wednesday, August 20

The Herb Box at DC Ranch and Southbridge is still running its Summer Supper Club deal and this Tuesday and Wednesday the featured fare will be Nuevo Latin cuisine. On both days the restaurant will serve a themed menu, which includes three-courses plus a glass of wine for only $30. Look for dishes including a papusa, or black bean and Manchego stuffed masa griddle cake; Cuban braised pork with tepary beans, cilantro, and Napa cabbage slaw; and Kahlua chocolate bread pudding topped with sweet cream and shaved chocolate. Bitter & Twisted Thursday, August 21

Downtown's hottest cocktail spot Bitter & Twisted is now offering happy hour deals every Tuesday through Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. On the drinks side, you can look forward to a Collins, Margarita, Mojito or an ever-changing Featured Cocktail all for only $6, while domestic beers and well cocktails are $1 off. On the food side, the bar is offering discounted snacks such as $7 Seoul Fried Chicken with cheese gravy and watermelon kimchi or a $7 The Kracken, charred cuttlefish with glass noodles, dill, Thai basil, chili lime sauce, and crispy shallot.

Sushi Roku Friday, August 22
