Bourbon Steak at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess in Scottsdale will celebrate the Kentucky Derby with a brunch and lawn party from 1 to 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 6. Guests can get in on the Derby atmosphere by enjoying mint juleps, live blues music and Bulleit bourbon tastings. Guests can enjoy traditional Southern fare featuring Kentucky Derby hot browns, Benedictine dip, pickled shrimp toasts, swee-tea-brined fried chicken, buttermilk oyster sliders, and house-smoked andouille sausage in addition to desserts including chess pie, red velvet cupcakes, and Derby pie. The brunch includes a commemorative Kentucky Derby glass and three complimentary cocktails. Race-watchers also can down classic mint juleps prepared with Bourbon Steak’s exclusive Bulleit 10-year bourbon. Bourbon Steak’s Kentucky Derby Brunch costs $109 per person, plus tax and service charge. Reservations are suggested and can be made by calling 480-585-2694. Urban Wine Walk in Downtown Phoenix
Saturday, May 6

Urban Wine Walk — a self-guided tasting tour that encourages participants to explore downtown Phoenix, socialize, experience local bars and restaurants, and sample wines — returns this Saturday. Each participating location is within walking, biking, or light rail distance of each other, and will sell wine samples for $2 or $3, which includes an hors d’oeuvre while supplies last. Head to spots including The Duce, Central Wine, First Draft Book Bar, and The Arrogant Butcher. The first 300 people at downtown's newest restaurant, Chico Malo, at CityScape Phoenix will receive a free commemorative wine glass. Bring cash so you can tip your servers. Pedal Haus and CRUjiente Pop-up Taco Shop

Tempe's Pedal Haus Brewery and Arcadia's CRUjiente Tacos have teamed up for a pop-up drink and taco combo on Sunday. Guests who head over to the Mill Avenue brewery can enjoy a special “CRUlaboration” beer, a blood orange Gose-style beer that can be paired with CRUjiente Chef Richard Hinojosa's roasted pork belly taco with habanero blood orange glaze. The pop-up is on Sunday, May 7, from noon to 3 p.m. at Pedal Haus Brewery in Tempe. The beer and taco combination costs $6.50, beer is $4, and tacos are $4 each.
