Welcome Chicken + Donuts' Blood Orange Glaze + Douglas Fir + Pecan Doughnut

Welcome Chicken + Donuts has brought its A-game all year when it comes to creating unique, seasonal doughnut flavors. And wintertime is no exception it seems, as the introduction of the new blood orange glaze doughnut with Douglas fir and pecans hit the pastry case this month. The aroma alone is festive, and the flavor combination is hard to beat when it comes to holiday cheer. For more information, visit Welcome Chicken + Donuts online, or call 602-258-1655.

La Grande Orange's Clown Door Cocktail

Right on time, LGO has released a new cocktail to make use of one the most fleeting fall ingredients, the blood orange. The Clown Door, made with Buffalo Trace bourbon, Amaro Cio Ciaro, blood orange, cinnamon, lemon, and bitters, is a well-balanced sipper, and so drinkable we might have to go back for a second round before we call it quits. Don't be afraid of the Amaro Cio Ciaro — the blood orange tames the bitter Italian liqueur and renders the cocktail light and smooth. For more information, visit LGO online or call 602-840-7777.
