Bottled Blonde You know those times when you're hungover and all you want to do is get some fresh air, eat some eggs Benedict, and recover around a bunch of people who understand how hard you went last night? Those are the times that Bottled Blonde is for. The outdoor (but covered and generally out of the sun) seating is perfect for getting some air without blinding yourself, the breakfast itself is good, and most of the other patrons and servers were probably there last night when you were dancing on the table, so they all generally understand what you're going through. The downside is that we're pretty sure they frown upon just waiting outside from when the bar closes at 2:00 a.m. until they open for breakfast, but at least it's within walking distance of hotels.

Snooze The bad thing about Snooze when you're hungover is that there's often a substantial wait for a table by the time you find your keys and get pants on after a long night out. The good news is that you can sip on their coffee while you're waiting, and once you get to a table, a lot of the breakfast items are actually quite tasty. Snooze does well by "sweet" breakfasts, regardless of if you go with the pineapple upside down, peanut butter cup, or blueberry Danish pancakes -- or something else altogether. In our experiences, the servers have been pretty cool about helping you add things to any dish so it hits all of your hungover cravings, no matter how weird they are. We also find it to be a little less snooty than some of the Valley's other trendy breakfast spots.

RnR Brunch at the Scottsdale bar/restaurant comes with a warning: It's not for those of you who want to shut all of the lights off and curl up in a ball when you're hungover. For that matter, weekend brunch at RnR is actually louder and more crowded than some Scottsdale bars get at night. The food (particularly the green chile pork tacos) is good enough to bring you back to life again as it soaks up all of the booze left in your belly, and the bottomless mimosas/blaring music might be just what you need to get the party started again instead of wallowing in your own misery.

Over Easy One word: Wolfpack. For those of you who have never had the privilege of stuffing your face with this hangover-curing delicacy, it's kind of like a breakfast sandwich, but the bread is replaced by plate-size portions of hash browns. Yeah, that's right. It's hash browns, eggs/bacon/cheese, and then more hash browns. If you're really hungry, you can get the Wolfpack Club, it's a double-decker version of the Wolfpack. Try it the next time you're having a rough morning. Thank us later. The French toast and chicken fried steak are also top-notch, if for some reason you don't feel like a whole bunch of hash browns. We have a feeling that the one opening soon in Tempe is going to do just fine on weekend mornings.

Chompie's Have you ever been to the Chompie's location in Tempe during the late morning on a Saturday or Sunday when ASU is in session? It's a fantastic mix of about 20% families and 80% "I can't believe how drunk I got on Mill last night." There are few things on the breakfast menu that aren't full of enough carbs and grease to knock that headache right out, and you'll feel good about it because odds are, you won't look like you had the roughest night of the people there. Aside from the classic breakfasts, we've always felt like Chompie's was a judgment-free zone on those mornings. It might also be because breakfast sliders fix just about anything.
