Olive Blossom Festival at Queen Creek Olive Oil Mill

Spring has sprung, and Queen Creek Olive Oil Mill is celebrating with an Olive Blossom Festival on Saturday and Sunday. From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors can watch cooking demos by owner and master olive-oil blender Perry Rea, partake in honey tastings from Valley Honey Co., and take tours of the mill. Art of Summer Cooking Class at Lon's

From noon to 2 p.m. this Saturday, Lon's at The Hermosa Inn Executive Chef Jeremy Pacheco will teach guests how to make light and refreshing dishes that counteract summer's sweltering heat. You'll leave with knowledge of how to make salads, granitas, and chilled soups, in addition to chilled appetizers and entrees that just might make summer's heat more bearable. Running and Brunch at Vintage 95

Few things go together better than running and brunch, and you can do both this Sunday at Chandler's Vintage 95. Check-in for the event begins at 9:15 a.m., and then you get to run your choice of a 5K or 10K, after which you can indulge in one brunch entree and two drinks. The post-run nosh include huevos rancheros, chilaquiles, BLT salad, steak sandwich, or pancakes. Tickets cost $25 and include race entry, one entree, two drinks, tax, and tip. North Mountain Blues Brews & Arts Festival

North Mountain Brewing Company is hosting a full-blown blues, brews, and arts festival this Sunday starting at 11 a.m. Sip beer from North Mountain Brewing Company and enjoy the company's hearty cuisine such as sandwiches, flatbreads, sliders, and poutine. Other food vendors include Catjax Kettle Corn, Tropical Sno, and Fantasy Funnel Cakes. Attendees also can listen to live music and purchase merchandise from local artists. Tickets purchased in advance cost $12.50, while tickets purchased at the gate cost $15. The festival will be held at the brewery in Phoenix. Arizona Wine Festival 
All weekend 

Held in conjunction with the Tempe Festival of the Arts, the Arizona Wine Festival will bring together eight Arizona wineries to pour vino for attendees. Head to Seventh Street, just west of Mill Avenue, for sips. Local wineries at the festival include Alcantara Vineyards, Arizona Stronghold Winery, Bodega Pierce, Keeling Schaefer, Kief Joshua Vineyards, Page Springs Cellars, Pillsbury Wine Co., and Sonoita Vineyards. Tasting tickets cost $15 for six and $20 for 10 if purchased ahead of time, while tickets purchased at the door cost $20 for six and $25 for 10. A ticket purchase includes a commemorative wine glass.
