When life gives you lemons you make lemonade if you're in the habit of adhering to worn out sayings. When life gives you peaches, I say make beer and it sems our friends at Four Peaks Brewery feel the same way.

Today's brew: Four Peaks' Arizona Peach. Is this drink a fragrant sip of nectar or a rotten concoction?

Tastes: like no other peach product. Peach candy is always artificial. Canned peaches are always syrupy. Even actual peaches pale in comparison to this taste experience because of the hoppy notes that accentuate the natural peach flavor.

I got mine: at Four Peaks Brewery in Tempe where Arizona Peach is "always on tap."

Goes with: just about everything although whether you'd be interested in too much else after sampling this is another matter entirely.

Verdict: A strong-bodied beer this is not. If you're looking for something to knock your socks off this probably isn't for you either as it possesses a mere 4% alcohol content. If, however, you're looking for something you can enjoy glass after glass without getting that lead gut feeling, believe me when I say this beer's a peach.
