'Tis the season for giving, and if you're going to give, you might as well get something back -- in this case, a foursome of beers from San Tan Brewing Company.

Tonight, New Times will host the final Brews to Benefit event, the monthly happy hour that benefits a local charity. This time, we're giving to the Arizona Beagle Rescue and pouring beers from the local Chandler brewery.

The way it works is simple. You buy a $10 ticket to the event and get four drink tickets each good for a beer. The side of good feelings, since part of the proceeds will go to charity, comes free.

The Arizona Beagle Rescue is a nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to beagle rescue and public education. That includes preventing the euthanization of beagles, finding homes for the dogs, facilitating adoptions and education the public on the importance of spaying and neutering. Brews to Benefit will be held at the Arrogant Butcher at City Scape in Downtown Phoenix from 6 to 8 p.m.
