Cat Cora Tonight

She's finally here! Tonight Iron Chef Cat Cora will at Changing Hands Bookstore in Tempe promoting her new book Cat Cora's Classics with a Twist. Cora with will be doing a cooking demo and signing copies of her new book. Chow Bella will be on hand as well with prizes and giveaways. Seating starts at 6 p.m. but we suggest getting there early, seating is limited.

Last week our own Michele Laudig was lucky enough to pick Ms Cora's brain about her new book and finds out what Phoenix restaurant she hopes to get a table at. Click here to find out for yourself.

The Duce
New Downtown hotspot The Duce normally keeps its door shut Monday through Wednesday but tonight is special. The Duce will be open tonight for the Diamondbacks vs. Yankees' game. Pre-game at the Duce and catch a ride to the game in style on the old school bus or stay and watch the game on one of the flat screen t.v.'s on the patio. Happy Hour specials and bbq ribs and chicken will be aplenty.

Goats Milk Donuts
There is nothing quite like the smell of freshly glazed donuts first thing in the morning. Thankfully Soapopotamus has somehow captured that irresistible smell and made it into soap. Yep those pretty donuts up there are actually bars of goats milk soap! In addition to donuts, the soap chef also makes cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and even roasted chicken in soap form.
