Yes, you read that right.

Iron Chef Cat Cora will be the star of our next Chow Bella event, on June 23 at 7 p.m.

We're thrilled to team up with our favorite local bookstore, Changing Hands, for a special night of cooking and chatting with Cora, who'll give a food demonstration and will sign copies of her latest cookbook, Cat Cora's Classics With a Twist. We'll also have prizes and giveaways throughout the night.

As the first female Iron Chef on the popular Food Network show, Cora's demonstrated her finesse with creating elegant, creative dishes from random ingredients.

In her new book, she shows readers how to whip up popular dishes with a lighter, fresher spin, keeping an eye on the clock for time-pressed home cooks. What does a busy Iron Chef make for her family when she comes home? These are some of her favorite options.

Event seating begins at 6 p.m., and lettered tickets for seats and your spot in the booksigning line are free with the purchase of a book. (One ticket is good for two seats.) Seating for the general public will be available 15 minutes before the event.

Early arrival is highly recommended as seating is limited. To reserve your copy of the book, please call Changing Hands at 480-730-0205.

In the coming weeks, we'll update you with news of special giveaways and other surprises for Chow Bella readers. (Still want one of those aprons....?)
