It's been a little over seven months since chef Charleen Badman and Pavle Milic pulled up stakes at Stetson Drive and moved their restaurant, FnB, a few streets over to Craftsman Court.
The Old Town Scottsdale storefront has been vacant ever since. But now it looks like its landlord, Peter Kasperski, (who also owns Cowboy Ciao and Kazimierz World Wine Bar on either side of it) has come up with a few inventive ways to put the space to good use.

According to the Republic, Kasperski will open the space this fall as Counter Intuitive, a multi-use venue that will be a quick-service eatery by day (11 a.m. to 3 p.m.), cocktail lounge at night (11 p.m. to 3 a.m.), and, during prime dinner hours (between 5 and 10 p.m.), an extension of Cowboy Ciao.
Counter Intuitive's menu will be headed up by chef Garrison Whiting, the former sous chef at Cowboy Ciao. A working menu for the restaurant features dishes such as pork terrine, a cured rib eye carpaccio, rabbit rillettes, elote, and steamed buns with braised duck.
Stay tuned for details.
