If you've been on Facebook lately you might have noticed a few of your friends have "liked" a page called "Crock Pot Girls." I clicked "like" for kicks to see what kind of recipes soccer moms are into these days.

Apparently, I'm not the only one. By a longshot.

Apparently some friends started a Facebook page to share some recipes with friends and since they started it August 19th, 2011 - that's 2 weeks ago, folks. They have over 1 million "likes." I'm not kidding.

As I write this, their Facebook page says 1,027,848. That's insane.

My husband thought they might have something to do with sexy ladies holding slow cookers in strategic locations. So far, that's not the case but I wouldn't be surprised with the kind of income and influence these friends might see in the months to follow.

They've since slapped together a webpage: http://crockpotgirls.com/.

Note to self: Develop a crock pot webpage/cookbook and launch it at the beginning of school/soccer season. This story is amazing.
