Dine Out for the Gulf Coast
Starting tonight, Scottsdale's FnB will be joining many other restaurants across the country to help raise funds for for the Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund. June 10-12 FnB will donate 50% from each sale of their Crispy Rock Shrimp & Jalapeno Tartar appetizer. The Gulf Coast Oil Spill Fund has been set up to assist nonprofit organizations in helping victims of the oil spill and to address the long term ecomomic and environmental effects. 6 Courses of Tomatoes
If you're a fan of home grown tomatoes don't miss the upcoming 2010 Festival of Tomatoes Dinner at Quiessence Restaurant at The Farm at South Mountain. Wednesday June 16 at 6:30 p.m., Chef LaPrad will whip up a six-course meal incorporating the season's best locally grown tomatoes. Local winemaker Sam Pillsbury will also be there sharing stories of wine country and pairing his wines with each course.
